The Perfect Medium - Photography and the Occult
Presented by Helga Härenstam
This book is a beautiful collection of images that deals with belief, reliability and photography. It´s mostly old photographs in which people have been trying to document the supernatural with the strange new invention: The camera. I also see these images as a way of dealing with death & the loss of lost friends and family- the photographs were "proves", something to hang on to in times of war and grief, a dream or wish that the that these people haven't really disappeared.
